이건 재미있군요. Jordan이 결국 WindRiver를 떠나 Apple로 옮겨가다니...

일전에 Linus Tovalds의 자서전에 Apple에서 그를 끌어들이려 했었는데
Linus가 가지 않았다는 이야기가 나왔었죠. 그럼 Apple은 Linux를 버리고
FreeBSD를 얻은게 되는지... 물론 Jordan은 훌륭한 엔지니어이지만 그가
FreeBSD에서 맡고 있는 기술적인 비중은 Linus보다는 낮다고 할 수
있죠. 하지만 그 자체만으로도 애플은 든든한 오픈 소스의 후원자를
얻었다고 할 수 있을것 같습니다. 향후에 애플사가 이 새로운 OS와 함께
오픈 소스에 얼마나 기여하게 될 지가 많은 관심사가 되겠군요.
