first of all, im sorry to post in English, my hangul encoding has failed..

I have small lan-network in my office including a Server installed FreeBSD 2.2.8.

My Server has a modem, so i made "ipalias" to connect for client machines internet through Server modem and succeeded.

Now i have a problem.. I can't run "ppp" on the remote machine via telnet.

What should i do? I know I cannot log in as a root thru telnet, so i made my remote login ID as a group of "network", but failed.

 My failure messeges below:

$ppp -alias interactive
Working in interactive mode
You may not use ppp in this mode with this label
interactive: Invalid user id

 Thanx.
