Matrox G400에 FreeBSD 4.1을 설치해서 쓰고 있습니다만
별 문제 없이 설치되던데요. XFree86의 일반적인 설치방법을 따르면 됩니다.
그리고 XFree86의 README 화일에 지원되는 목록이 나와있군요.
