로그인시 메시지를. 출력하지 않을려면...

저. 로그인시 출력되는..  COPYRIGHT와 motd를. 출력하지 않을려면
그냥. 빈 파일 만들어도 되는데...
한줄이.. 추가 되더군요?
그래서. 완전 없애보려고
/etc/login.conf 를 수정해볼려는데
copyright출력을 /dev/null 로. 바꿔 버렸습니다..
그렇게 하니.. 출력을. 안하더군요?
그런데 /dev/null을 잘 몰라서
이렇게 사용해도 되는지 알고 싶어서요..
다른 분은. 어떻게 사용하시는지??
