만약 NT(2000)/unix에서
PHP를 쓰신다면,
아래 허접/너절한 설명을 동봉합니다.

http://www.freetds.org -->에 가셔서
"freetds0.51"을 다운 받으세여.
그런 다음, 원하시는 디렉토리에 압축을
푸세여.
보통은 디폴트로 "/usr/local/freetds"
로 합니다. 리눅스와 달리, 프비에서 make를
할때는 "gmake(없다면 설치)"를 쓴답니다.
이제 한번 들어가 보져.
Cf, 해당 SQL_SERVER에
SQL서비스팩1.0 이상을 설치해 놓으셔야 해여.
이상 사전 준비 끝!
간단한 작업디렉토리 한번 만들어 보져...
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local]# mkdir work
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local]# cd work
이제 받아두셨던 "freetds source"를 "work" 디렉에 옮겨보져.
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/work]# mv /www/user/jughead/freetds-0.51 .
"ll" 명령을 하시구, 옮겨졌는지 확인을 해봅니다.
제대로 옮겨졌으면, 계속...
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/work]# ll
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 234447 Nov 28 08:06 freetds-0.51.tgz 확인
drwxr-xr-x 2 200 wheel 1024 Jul 8 13:49 gd1.3
-rw-r--r-- 1 jug jug 113279 Jul 8 13:28 gd1.3.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 jug jug 13075493 Jul 8 13:32 swing1_1_1.zip
압축을 풉니다.
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/work]# tar -xvzf freetds-0.51.tgz
먼가 주르륵...
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/work]# cd freetds-0.51
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/work/freetds-0.51]# ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/freetds --with-tdsver=7.0 --enable-msdblib --enable-dbmfix --with-gnu-ld --enable-shared
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/work/freetds-0.51]# gmake; gmake install
이제 설치는 끝났네여. 이제 제대로 인스톨이 되었는지 확인해 볼까여?
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/work/freetds-0.51]# cd /usr/local/freetds
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/freetds]# ll
drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 512 Nov 28 08:09 include
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 1683 Nov 28 08:15 interfaces

이제 환경을 "Configuration" 해줘야 겠네여.
"shell"의 종류에 따라 쩜 다릅니다.
물론,
자신이 쓰고 있는 shell을 기준 삼아야 합니다.
"csh"로 해보져.
etc 디렉토리로 위치를 옮겨 볼까여?
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/freetds]# cd /etc
vi를 엽니다.
[jughead : ns1 /etc]# vi csh.cshrc
삽입모드: "i"

그럼 이젠,
님께서 연결하시고자 하는 MS_SQL에 접속하실
정보를 freetds 디렉에 있는 interfaces 파일로 편집해 보져.
[jughead : ns1 /etc]# cd /usr/local/freetds
[jughead : ns1 /usr/local/freetds]# vi interfaces
