crontab -l 명령을 실행했을때...

root 권한으로 crontab -l 을 실행하면 no crontab for root 라는 메시지가 나옵니다.
물론 /etc/crontab file 을 보면 who field 에 root 라고 되어있는 작업 리스트들이 많구요.
이게 정상적인 현상입니까? 다른 UNIX 계열 OS 에서는 이런 현상을 접한적이 없어서요.

혹시 문제가 있다면 어떤것이 있을 수 있을까요?
