그것은 프비나 리눅스 배포본들이나 모두 마찬가지일 겁니다.
bash가 ~/.bashrc 파일을 읽으려면
~/.bash_profile  에서
# include .bashrc if it exists

#if [ -f ~/.bashrc ]; then
#    source ~/.bashrc
#fi

이 부분을

# include .bashrc if it exists

if [ -f ~/.bashrc ]; then
    source ~/.bashrc
fi

이렇게 고쳐 주셔야 할텐데요...
