커널 컴팔하다가 나오는 메세지..

4.3 Release 에서 STABLE 버전으로 업그레이드 하는 중,,
커널 컴파일 작업을 하는중 아래와 같은 오류가 나왔습니다.
아직 커널 컴파일 과정에 대해 정확히 알고 있지 못하여 책에 나온데로 해
보았는데.... 어떻게 해결해야 할지 모르겠습니다.

# config PAPAMAMA
 ......

# cd ../../compile/PAPAMAMA
 ......

# make depend kernel
 ......
 .
오류==> ../../dev/kbd/kbdreg.h:92: `NUM_KEYS' undeclared here (not in
a function)
../../dev/kbd/kbdreg.h:92: size of array `kb_lastact' has non-integer
type
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/src/sys/compile/PAPAMAMA.


위의 명령은 교재에는 버전 3.x 대에서 설치하는 걸로 나와있는데,
교재에 나온데로 4.x 버전 대의 컴파일 방식인
# make buildkernel KERNEL=PAPAMAMA
로 하니깐 에러가 나오더군요
그래서 위의 방식으로 해보았습니다.

위의 에러는 문제가 어떤거죠?
감이 안잡히는군요...
