아래는 XFree86 -configure를 실행한 후 /root/XF86Config.new의 내용입니다.
인터넷을 뒤져봐도 성공했다는 얘기는 보이지 않더군요..
제가 해본 방법은 다음과 같습니다.
1.XFree86 -configure
XFree86 -xf86config /root/XF86Config.new
2. cp /root/XF86Config.new /etc/X11
startx
3. xf86config
startx
4. XFree86 -configure의 결과와 xf86config의 결과를 적절히 조합한 후
startx
5. 다른 카드에서 성공한 XF86Config를 수정한 후
startx
위의 방법 모두에서 모니터 LED만 껌뻑 껌뻑합니다.
처음에는 Device 섹션의 BusID 엔트리에 문제가 있는 것으로 생각했지만
XFree86 -scanpci로 해봤더니, 아래와 같이 나오더군요..
물론 AGP로 바꾸기도 했고, Driver엔트리를 radeon으로 바꿔도 보았습니
다. 모두 LED만 껌뻑 껌뻑합니다.
XFree86은 ftp의 이미지를 CD로 만들어 설치도 해보고, 소스를 받아다가
컴파일해서 설치도 해봤습니다.
아침에 눈뜰때부터 잠들때까지 요새 계속 이것만 붙잡고 있었더니 죽을
맛입니다. 누구 아는 사람있으면 방법 좀 갈켜주세요...
