맨페이지에 보니 다음과같이 써있네요...
     -w method     The -w option sets the default method used to set passwords
                   for newly created user accounts.  method is one of:
 
                         no      disable login on newly created accounts
                         yes     force the password to be the account name
                         none    force a blank password
                         random  generate a random password
 
                   The `random' or `no' methods are the most secure; in the
                   former case, pw generates a password and prints it to std-
                   out, which is suitable where you issue users with passwords
                   to access their accounts rather than having the user nomi-
                   nate their own (possibly poorly chosen) password.  The `no'
                   method requires that the superuser use passwd(1) to render
                   the account accessible with a password.

안녕하세요.

pw useradd 를 이용해서 사용자 계정을 생성하려 합니다.
아카이브를 뒤져보니까 이에 관련하여 조성준님이 올려주신 글이 있더군요..

질문내용은 간단합니다.
pw useradd -n testuser -c test -d /home/test -g 1001 -L standard -s /bin/csh -w none -pw test -m

이렇게 testuser라는 account를 생성할때 password도 같이 지정하고 싶은데, 잘 안됩니다.
man page에 보니까 -w 옵션으로 no, yes, none, random은 있던데..

조성준님이 올린글에는 -w none -pw 패스워드 라고 하셨던데,
실제로 이렇게 설정을 하고 pw useradd 하고 vipw 해서 보면 password란이 비어 있습니다.
testuser::1136:1001:standard:1025276400:0:test:/home/testuser:/bin/csh

그래서 지금은 pw useradd 로 계정생성하고 별도로 passwd 명령어로 password를 지정하고 있습니다.
adduser 나 pw useradd시 패스워드를 한꺼번에 지정해서 계정생성할수 있는 방법이 없을까요?

그리고 두번째 질문은 ftp server 프로그램으로 proftpd를 사용하고 있습니다.
기본 ftp를 사용할때는 ftp를 허용하고 싶지 않은 계정은 /etc/ftpuser에 지정하고, @wheel 이렇게 넣어두면 wheel그룹이 ftp로 접근할수 없었는데,
proftpd 를 사용하고 난 뒤로는 이 설정이 적용되지 않습니다.
아마도 다른 화일에서 지정을 해줘야 할것 같은데, 그 경로를 알려주시겠습니까?
